Mini-Biography: Meyrenac likes to look tough and act tougher. He cultivates muscle and a certain image of being the sole barrier to those who would seek to harm Mathon, despite being seen as something of a joke among the other Hold guards. He really isn't as strong as he likes to seem, after all, and reacts poorly whenever this fact is brought to light. There isn't much that angers him more than having his delusions quashed. There have always been rumors that he's interested in men, rumors that Meyrenac himself vehemently denies despite there being much evidence to the contrary – an unhealthy obsession with other mens' physiques, stubbornly remaining a bachelor despite several interested young women, and the tests of strength that he challenges others to, which almost always involve everyone removing their shirts first. For now, it remains a mystery, though many will point out that him leaving for the Weyr after being Searched for Ceocayath's P8T18 clutch was just his own way of admitting that he was a degenerate.
