Mini Biograpgy:
From the very moment he exits the shell, there's just something uncannily feline about A (Very) Meritocratic Blue. He strides around the sands with a prowl in his step, his eyes narrow and judgemental. His tail flicks back and forth threateningly, as if he may lash out and whip an unfortunate Candidate with it. He's a bit large for a blue, and he seems to appear both slender and strong at the same time, adding to his formidable appearance. Seriously, why are the dragons of this clutch so reminiscent of anything but dragons? Must be something about the sire. Anyways, his hide is splashed with a typical blue shade, only to be interrupted by a jagged pattern that runs down his back. The pattern is a nearly-black blue, and the color also appears on his wings and down his legs. His face is rather like a feline's too, with a squareish snout and long headknobs that could cut a man. A (Very) Meritocratic Blue has a powerful body and burns energy fast, requiring a large amount of food to keep himself going.

His rough exterior certainly doesn't hide a meek blue underneath. A (Very) Meritocratic Blue is just as fearsome as he looks. He is disdainful of those he deems weak and will do his best to thoroughly ignore them. This attitude will lead to him chafing under the interconnected ways of the Wings, and it's only made worse by his ever-encompassing pride. A (Very) Meritocratic Blue will almost never back down in a fight, as he doesn't believe in losing. Failure is of the highest insult, and this blue doesn't believe in 'practice makes perfect'; you get one shot and you're done. If it were up to him, the 'failures' of dragon society would be grounded and shamed. He is very easily angered and sent into rage.

Despite his war-like nature, A (Very) Meritocratic Blue observes basic respect with his peers. Many times he will appear calm and reasonable, which tends to surprise people when he lashes out and shows his true colors. The natural hierarchy will forever frustrate A (Very) Meritocratic Blue, as he believes in working for your rank. Whether you're a man or woman, young or old, popular or an outcast, this blue believes in handing out jobs based on a dragon's actual abilities. He's definitely seen a few bronzes who don't deserve their shiny hides, or greens that can't Search for clart. He will be loud about these beliefs, and will likely work his whole life for change. Whether he lives to see the end of the Pass or not even make it a day past Weyrlinghood, A (Very) Meritocratic Blue will never stop speaking up. Though, despite this, he is an avid Threadfighter and will often try to bite off more than he can chew during a Fall.

A (Very) Meritocratic Blue is absolutely, positively monogamous. He will find the fiercest, best green in all of Solaria and chase her until the end of his days. Whether he finds this girl immediately or if his hide is grey when she comes, A (Very) Meritocratic Blue will not settle until he's found the one. And when he finds her at last, he will be loyal to her and only her. Even if she pushes him away, he will be there with all of his love, during her every flight. Which…isn't a good thing, it should really be discouraged, but what can one do? He will insist on becoming her weyrmate, and doesn't give two flecks about what his rider (or her rider) thinks!

Egg Name: Flour Egg

Egg Description: his is not a very exciting egg to look at. It’s about average size, and a pale off-white. It stands out nicely against the dark hatching sands, but that’s about all that can be said for it. There’s flecks of slightly darker colour speckled over the egg, and something about it looks a bit… lumpy? However, when looking around the edges of the egg, it’s really not misshapen at all; it’s just a trick of the light.
Egg Feeling/Emotions: Just like on first glance this egg is boring, so it is on first touch. There isn’t much reaction at all from the egg unless you stand there for a few moments. Then, a sense of potential starts to build. Maybe it will take work, but you can do anything!
